We will opening the doors to Old Manor Park Library this April to give a glimpse into the wide variety of work being made in the building.
The ex public library is unique with it's rabbit warren of different spaces and has given a rebirth to the value of shared knowledge amongst the practitioners it houses. We have architects, designers, printmakers, painters and social activists, all of which contribute to a community that encourages skill sharing and mutual support amongst artists. As well as studios we also have the Rabbits Road Institute, a public facing community space where a range of workshops, talks and film screenings take place. There is an artists in residency scheme, where OOMK (One of My Kind) who create a biannual art publication and have set up a printing press, provide inductions, generate work and run their own events.
There is lots to explore, and there will be a small events programme announced shortly - so come along!
See you then!
