I have included this show because it was an amazing journey from self-funded, self-created to accidental commercial success. The idea was simple but the execution was a complex hybrid of theatre, cabaret, improv, mime, group singing and leaps of imagination from all involved. I am very proud of it and it also cemented my creative relationship with director Russel Lucas with whom I am now working on a performance art piece about Kate Bush and her superfans. We had to fight hard to hold onto our artistic vision when it travelled from a 100 seater in the Edinburgh Fringe to a 700 seater in the Toronto West End, but we did and now have plans to tour it to America.
