‘Sensors’ is a series of photographs, each guarded by resin structures of varying opacity and colour which obscure and conceal the memories captured within the photographic images.

‘Sensors’ explores both the intimacy of our memories and the ways in which we can forget them. Shielding the photographs, the resin pieces act as a shelter from the public prying on what may be private and personal moments captured in the photographs. Juxtaposing this, ‘Sensors’ also illustrates the blocking of memory as an attempt to forget; the idea that forgetting can occur due to interference or disruption.
