Of Indian origin, born in India, raised in Northern Ireland, working in London, Paris and New Delhi. I completed a two year fine arts course at City Lit and would like to develop my practice within an arts community. Up to now I have been especially interested in drawing, painting and sculpture, mostly figurative.
I was brought up next to the Foyle river at the port in Derry and spent much time on the docks amid the warehouses, quays and the abandoned train station and the industrial debris of a town then in decline (and the troubles).
For many years I have run a law firm in Paris, London and New Delhi. My legal practice has mainly been related to the development of the industrial infrastructure of India including; rail transport, telecommunications, steel, water, the Delhi underground, power stations and dams.
I am interested in an art practice that can bring elements of my cultural background and am currently working on a project involving my interest in industrial structures.
