Taron Allison is a Sound Recordist and Aural manipulator.
Working with both Digital media, installations, environmental sculpture and multimedia.
He uses sound to describe architectural and physical space, in both the present and the past. In both aural fields and physical presentation.
Environmental manipulations co exists with contemporary objects. Sometimes superimposing or re conceptualising an objects or environments natural sounds in a new configuration.
Reminding us of an object’s past, presenting us with a aural representation of a places use, or an alternative aural narrative to an objects function..
By juxtaposing or separating the kinetic sound of an object with the physical presence of the objects existence, he plays with time past, present and future.
