Tania Salha is a London based multidisciplinary artist.
Salha’s early conceptually driven work is fuelled by a critical exploration of social and political breakdown post civil wars, and critique social injustices and cultural contradictions.
Characterised by its fluidity between media, Salha’s recent work investigate one’s reality in relation to the cyclical nature of existence. While some simply practice introspection, others explore the relationships between the organic, the synthetic and the human psyche. Through constant shift between painting, film, sculpture and installation, Salha creates complex and dynamic compositions using contradictory material disarmed from their original qualities and functions.
