Roberta Mongardi defines herself as a people’s photographer. Her way to relate with them is through observing.
She tries to keep people’s stories and describe them through her pictures, creating her own imaginary worlds.
As she developed projects about street photography, photojournalism and portraits, employing both traditional
and innovative photographic techniques, ethical relationships became the most relevant aspect of her practice.
In 2010 Mongardi graduated in the Master Degree “Industrial design and Planning” specialising in Graphic Design
at the University ISIA (Institute of Industrial Artistic Design) in Faenza. In 2015 she attended the MA Photography
at the London College of Communication. She is currently based in London where she lives, works and developing
her personal and commissioned photographic projects.
