Growing up in Italy then moved to Japan attracted by kimono’s traditional culture and to learn the language, after 5 years Michela decided to back in Italy and realize her childhood dream : create handmade hight quality Hats and Clothes.
Here starts Michela Ceccarini Millinery project, in 2009.
After completing a Fashion Designer Academy, in Rome, Michela earned a Master’s Degree, with Shingo Sato, on Tr Cutting Techniques, she studied how to transform pattern and reconstruct it; on the same time she studied, as self-taught, the Art of making Hats.
To refine Hat Making's Techniques she also have classes with the great Rose Cory in London.
This lead to an early career working for a variety of fashion brands and artisanal Ateliers, focusing on both creative and traditional tailoring aspect of fashion.
All pieces are the result of a fusion between Italian and Japanese Cultures, a mixture of ready to wear as well as bespoke pieces with an emphasis on quality and original design.
Continuous research of perfect balance between elegance, design, attention for details and high quality manufactured products.
Michela's Studio, now in London, is a place where Hats and Clothes move away from the massive production system to retrieve handcraft's traditions, it is for those are looking for a sophisticated touch and wanna wear unique pieces of Art.
