Patxi Xabier Lezama Perier sculptor of the old rites of myth and Basque nature. Creator who is part of the generation of Basque sculptors who have grown up with the magic of mythology, born in Zalla (1967), where he lived, studied and worked. A town known for its popular culture and especially for its mythology, in which superstitions were known in malignant supernatural beings, witches and witchcraft, and the natives of Zalla are called "warlocks" par excellence. The primary basic matrix vibrated at the bottom of the artist's depths, beginning a long and extensive search for transmission and resolution, as well as providing this type of subversive imaginary world, assuming systems of values ​​that go beyond the visual, from a historical and cultural perspective that searches constantly in its roots, the keys of its own identity in indigenous legends, myths and deities formed the Basque mythological universe. An ancient legacy of the past, which lives in the present and transmits to future generations.
