Patrick Hough (b.1989, Galway, Ireland) is an artist who work incorporates moving image, photography and installation to examine how history is constructed and represented in the present. His most recent body of work uses an archive of historical film props to explore how the cinematic image is indelibly embedded in our perception of history. He received his BA in Fine Art Media from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 2011 and his MA in Fine Art Photography from the Royal College of Art, London in 2013.
