My art practice is site-responsive through being concerned with the social context of places and interventions in this. My projects happen in real world settings, creating temporary communities and shifting people’s experience of a particular place. They may also explore the changing nature of locality in relation to the everyday use of social media and internet and a technologically mediated experience of place. Over the last few years, I have investigated Twitter as a medium for live performance and interaction. The series of projects has mostly been in collaboration with Seven Art Writers collective, and use performance scores to structure our collaborative live writing on Twitter, over extended periods of time.
I received a B.A. Hons in Fine Art (Painting) from Wimbledon College, University of the Arts London and in 2015 I developing new oil painting and 2D works, that explore the infrastructure and architecture of London.
