Mat Cahill

Location: London

Mat Cahill is a British artist known for his drawings, some of which take him up to 400 hours to complete. Mat explores various themes in his work, from masculinity in contemporary society to issues of anonymity and individuality, and the phenomenon of the crowd.

Mat is represented online by Rise Art and by Mincolors in Taiwan.

The artist trained at Loughborough University and Wimbledon College of Art. He founded his own art education consultancy in 2007 before going on to work as a studio assistant for Damien Hirst.

Mat has exhibited his work nationally throughout the U.K and internationally. In 2016 he created an installation at the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of the Design Nation Festival.
