Bio:

Themes of fragility, change and survival are central to my work. The delicate balance of life, and the determination of nature and humankind to overcome adversity, is expressed through contemporary abstract works using a wide range of mediums. My practice is process led harnessing organic and synthetic matter, which when brought together may clash and repel, or find a way of co-existing. This material dialogue drives the formation of the works which are developed referencing patterns of growth, life and death.
I previously studied fine art, specialising in print, and then completed a MA in Art and Science. The Sci-Art line of enquiry creates works which I hope will educate and engage with the viewer, appealing aesthetically, and intellectually.
