Artist, musician and creative facilitator. Lucy works with collected and composed sound, and re-appropriated and constructed objects to explore how sound can offer an alternative way of understanding our environments. An investigation into social history, and the cultural significance of objects and sites is the starting point of works, which are often developed through dialogue and exchange with local communities. Lucy delivers participatory workshops and projects with children, young people, and elders in a variety of contexts and settings. This includes working in galleries to respond to exhibitions and artworks, community centres to support and deliver self-initiated projects, and within schools to facilitate outreach arts and music workshops.
