Jojo Hynes

Location: London

Jojo Hynes is based in London and was born in 1983 in Co. Galway, Ireland.
Her current practice spans a range of media and explores representations of real and fictional female protagonists. Her films, objects, paintings and prints are influenced by where the past and the present meet and overlap. She often uses the structure of a movie trailer as a starting point to present a fast-paced, thrill-seeking, non-linear narrative.

Since 2014, Jojo Hynes has been a member of Triangular Brush, an art collective that create events, exhibitions and publications together.
