Jessica Jane Charleston

Location: Bow Arts Studio, Bow Road
Website: www.jessicajanecharleston.com
Bio:

Jessica is a painter, writer and printmaker who makes handmade books under the name Make Mud Press. Jessica’s work, an exploration of the self-portrait, reflects psychological states, often focusing on womanhood. She aims to carry the spontaneity of her sketchbooks through to her painting and printmaking. The artist’s ideas are dependent on action, it is in the doing, the drawing, that she ‘finds what she wants to say’.
