Isaac Nugent

Usually to be found painting or making collage, Isaac Nugent is a director of physical theatre; a constructor of humorous tableaux. He studied Art and History of Art at Edinburgh University between 2010 and 2015, winning the Huntly MacDonald Sinclair History of Art Prize and the Barns-Graham Dissertation Award. Following graduation, he received the Royal Scottish Academy John Kinross Scholarship, spending three months travelling through Italy. Between 2016 and 2017, he completed the 'Drawing Year' at the Royal Drawing School. He attended the Vermont Studio Centre in Johnson, Vermont and was artist in residence at the Watts Gallery in Surrey.
