Bio:

Fiona is a Painting Graduate from Camberwell College of Art and the 2015 UAL Winner of The Harry Crisp Award (awarded to a student who can demonstrate that they have worked above and beyond their course requirements in engaging with the local community groups and individuals).

She has a diverse oeuvre being a multidisciplinary Artist with an eclectic array of interests including, anatomy, colour, disability, diversity, ethnography, humour, feminism, heritage, history, photography, psychogeography, and semi confessional narratives.

Fiona has resided in Florence, Italy, worked in Algeria, represented companies abroad, travelled extensively and she is in a unique position to educate others, promote intergenerational work and cultural awareness through her art. Some of her accomplishments are having exhibited in Tate Modern, twice at The V&A Museum, completed artist residencies in Italy. She spends time in Sussex, exhibits in London and internationally.

She is influenced by visionaries such at William Blake, Patrick Brill, Frieda Kahlo, John Latham, Yoko Ono, Niki de Saint Phaille, John Ruskin, Octavia Hill, Mary Wollstonecraft and people who have done things differently and achieved success.

Harry Crisp Award (awarded by UAL, University of the Arts London) - The Harry Crisp Award is given annually to graduating students at Camberwell. It is funded by the Camberwell Residential Fellowship Trust (CRAFT) which funds projects that bring together arts education and local communities in the Camberwell area. The prize is awarded to a graduating student who can demonstrate that they have worked with local community groups and individuals.

Artist Assistant to Swiss Artist, John Armleder, installing his new show for the launch of The Dairy Arts Centre(a new private collectors museum), creating wall paintings with vinyl stencils and learning Armleder’s unique technique. I was taken aside and filmed where Nicolai Frahm stated that “I was the hardest working assistant”.
