LunaCornea Photography

My name is Enrico Della Spiga.
Luna Cornea (/'luna/ 'kɔrnea/), literally 'horned moon' in Italian means Horn Silver, a more poetic way to indicate the chemical compound Silver Chloride. The darkening of the silver in its mysterious interaction with Light, a marvel of nature, make photography possible.
I find the idea of the silver emulsion, like a magic mirror, catching the light reflected by a subject extremely fascinating. That something essential of the subject is actually caught relate to magic, perpetuation of beauty, freezing of time, a stubborn dream of humanity.
My work deals with this fascination for the secret Life of Matter and the symbolical means to represent it.
