Emiko Kurokawa is a Japanese-Italian freelance artist who currently lives and works in London.
Born in London but raised across the globe, she spent much of her childhood growing up between Tokyo, Frankfurt, Milan and Brescia. She pursued her BA degree in the United States at Wheaton College (Norton, MA), with a concentration in Studio Arts and World Religions. Although she defines herself as a studio artist, her preferred medium is relief printmaking.
She is currently working on an ongoing project with woodblocks that explore her cultural identity. In her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling and reading about crazy-wise adepts from Eastern religions.
