Clara Pereda

Location: Borned in León, based in London.

Clara Pereda (b. 1993, León, Spain) is an artist based in London working across mediums such as performance, moving image, writing and sculpture, usually through collaborative processes. After studying Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, she completed an MA in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 2019 with a Mutua Madrileña Grant for Postgraduate Studies. Her work has been recently exhibited in London as part of Ingrid Kraus’ and Agata Kik's curatorial project ‘The Museum of Rootedness’. Other shows include ‘RCA Degree Show 2019’, Royal College of Art, London, 2019; ’Incidental People’, Flat Time House, London, 2019; ’When They Flow’, curated by Ya Tien Shih, Chisenhale Studios, London, 2018; ‘Women’s Art Practice and Thinking’, Dorich House Museum, Kingston, 2018. She has led tutorials and workshops for students at Farnham University for the Creative Arts and Camberwell College of Art, University of the Arts, London.
