Candid Arts Trust is a self-funded, registered charity based at the Candid Arts Centre in Islington, London. The centre is located in two Victorian warehouses totalling 23,000 square feet and offers 6,500 square feet of loft style exhibition space, 20 artists studios, film screening rooms, rehearsal spaces, a banquet room that can be hired for private functions as well as a café with outside courtyard.
Candid Arts Trust’s main objective is to promote the arts and arts education with special emphasis placed on helping newly graduated artists and designers in their first years out of college. Candid showcases their work in specially organised exhibitions throughout the year and acts as an intermediary between artists and designers wishing to sell their work and clients looking to purchase new works.
Candid Arts Trust events include The Islington Contemporary Art and Design Fair, The Angel Christmas Fair as well as various group shows and film screenings throughout the year. It also hosts a number of College Degree Shows and solo and group exhibitions.
Over the past few years Candid Arts Trust has developed an educational programme that includes a variety of painting and drawing classes and workshops.

Angel Christmas Fair 2013
The Angel Christmas Fair returns for its 6th year at Candid Arts showcasing talent of over 50 artists and designers in one weekend just in time for Christmas.
ACF will take place in December and will showcase a dynamic mix of creative mediums.
7-8 Dec: Painting, Photography, Illustration, Fashion, Textiles, Jewellery, Accessories,
Ceramics and Glass.
ACF is an established showcase presenting a vibrant combination of both emerging and established creative artists and designers in one of the largest independent contemporary art spaces in central London.
The Director of Candid Arts is pleased the event pulls in the crowds and feels it just gets busier and busier every year. ‘We have some great artists and designers taking part this year with some really interesting products perfect as Christmas gifts. There are some delightful illustrations by Christine Dodd and Ollie Bright and hand crafted illuminated ceramic sculptures by Claire Bevacqua’.
The Angel Christmas Fair event will officially open on Friday 6th December from 5pm until 9pm and will open from 11am until 6pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December. Free admission.
