Anna Haward

Location: East London

The focus of my art has always been to suggest a subversion of accepted perspectives and an aspiration towards beauty and simplicity.

From the installations I created for my BA Graduate Show in 2004, where I applied a uniform procedure to mass-produced cylindrically shaped vessels, wrapping their entirety in common beige string through group "stringing sessions" with others, to my more recent work with drawing techniques, I have endeavoured to offer the viewer a subtly altered fragment of their world.
