Bio:

Amy Ash is an interdisciplinary artist, maker/researcher/teacher/curator. Originally from rural New Brunswick, Ash holds BFA from Mount Allison and a BEd from UNB. She currently lives and works in London, UK.

Ash’s practice stems from found objects, memories, stories and hearsay. Using a variety of media, she is interested in the study of axiology; particularly value systems which are quantifiably ambiguous. Surveying the intersections between experience, memory, hearsay and object against the construction and regeneration of personal cosmologies and lore, her work prompts and teases the collective memory.

She has exhibited and curated programmes in Canada and the United Kingdom.
