I studied Fine Art at Middlesex University followed by an MSc in History of Science at UCL, before deciding to set-up my own design brand in 2013, called Alfred & Wilde.
At Middlesex, my art practice focused on graphic screen printing, photography and big mixed media sculpture pieces influenced by corporate advertising.
The bold, graphic style has continued to influence the designs I produce for Alfred & Wilde, alongside subtle scientific references, architecture and typographics.
I recently collaborated with Hackney-based jewellery designer Wolf & Moon to produce a jewellery range inspired by the Platonic Solids. These are beautiful geometric shapes that can be seen at the Science Museum.
