I graduated from Central/St Martins with a BA Hons in Fine Art Painting in 1991. Since then I have been painting in my studio in Bow Arts, Bow, London, where I continue to paint today.

My work is a visual/rhythmic fusion between reality and imagination.

It is a mental playground for our brain’s subconscious processes, a place to explore our spectrum of consciousness. The images stem from real life experiences mixed with Science, Art and Psychology.

I paint in a figurative/narrative tradition with a rich blend of Expressionism, Surrealism, Pop Art and Animation.

I work in a series of a dozen paintings at a time with acrylic on canvas. I paint in a bright, bold, loose and colourful style, with as little reference as possible and with a serious sense of fun!
