Aleksandra Karpowicz is a London based fine artist. Her work focuses on the human form and portraiture, and is driven by her discourse that almost exclusively human nature.

Aleksandra has won two awards at the National Open Art Competition UK. She has also been selected as a finalist for the Pride Art Award and NCVO&PhotoVoice Competition. She has been shortlisted as TOP5 Women in the Art&Culture for the Women of the Future Award. After her nomination she became an Ambassador of the Women of the Future Network.

Since her graduation from the University of the Arts London, Aleksandra has been regularly exhibiting her work. Her photographs have been published by the BBC, Financial Times, El Pais, Europe and Me Magazine, Londnr Magazine. Polsat TV, Total Theatre Magazine etc. She also posed on the cover for the State/F22 Magazine, in which she was featured in an interview.

Aleksandra's artwork belongs to the collections in the UK, the USA, Germany, South Africa, Spain and Poland. She has been commissioned multiple times to create the artwork for the private clients and for the various shows. One of the recent commissions has been exhibited at the House of Parliament, Westminster.

She is a founder of LoVArts- London Visual Arts, a promotional and networking platform for London based visual artists. Since the launch of the platform she has been building the community of the artists through regular meetings as well as by promoting artists' work through LoVArts' channels and events.

Aleksandra holds a Diploma in Photography with distinction from University of the Arts London, as well as a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Warsaw, including scholarships abroad at the University of Oslo and Vilnius University.
