Alex was recently announced winner of The Picton Art Prize with his large bronze sculpture ‘Celestial’ installed at Angel Gate, Islington London in 2016. He has been shortlisted for The Mark Tanner Award, Henry Moore Plinth Prize & Clifford Chance award twice. In 2014, he was the first Foundry Fellow at Camberwell college of arts and was commissioned by Penguin Books to create a sculpture for Foyles flagship London store. Alex was resident artist in Beijing, China & Tokyo, Japan in 2014 & 2013. Whilst studying for his MA Fine Art at Chelsea, he was the 2013 recipient of The Patrick and Kelly Lynch Scholarship where his work is now held, as well as in various other collections.
