Internship, leading to part-time or full-time employment at The Japanese Gallery
We are looking for a new intern who is keen to work in the Japanese art industry. The ideal candidate will have an interest in continuing to work at the Japanese Gallery after the internship finishes.
Established in 1977, our gallery deals with Japanese fine art and antiques, and has recently expanded to encompass the dealership of original animation cels.
This job would be ideal for someone who has a deep interest in Japan and prior knowledge of Japanese art history. You should desire to expand your knowledge of art and culture and be an ambitious, diligent worker. Full training will be provided regardless of previous expertise. Additional skills, such as website management or online marketing are a bonus.
The Japanese Gallery has one of the largest collections of Japanese fine art and antiques in Europe and provides a fascinating environment for you to make new discoveries, gaining an in-depth knowledge of art and culture of both contemporary and historical Japan.
You will be joining a small team with a good atmosphere and will have the prospect of career development at an established business operating internationally.
If you feel that you are someone who fits our description and would like to submit an application, then please contact us via our email with a CV and cover letter addressed to Eddy Wertheim and citing “Japanese Gallery application spring 2017” as the subject line.
Thank you very much,
Japanese Gallery Team
