Hackney WickED Art Festival
With the highest concentration of artist studios in the world, Hackney Wick and Fish Island once again will throw open their doors to welcome the world to a three day celebration of creativity. In its third year, there will be more than 500 artists participating in the festival with a series of new exhibitions, gigs and art installations in and around the Wick. Open studios and galleries including Space Studios Eastway, Elevator Gallery, Bridget Reilly, Britannia Works, the Peanut Factory, Schwartz Gallery, Mother Studios, Forman’s Smokehouse Gallery and Stour Space.
The festival will be launched at 6pm on Fri 30 July and go on until Sunday 1 Aug around 10pm... Studios and galleries are generally open from 12-6pm each day, but some will have their own opening times so if it's something you really want to see check ahead!
