Bio:

Frida Wannerberger is an illustrator with a fascination for beautiful things, the world and the “un every-daily”. There is a subtle narrative to her work, expressing an intense love for clothes. An analytical relationship with what we wear along with an attraction to details, ultimately led her onto the path of illustration for fashion.
Trained at Central Saint Martins, Frida graduated 2013 with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration. After graduating she produced merchandise imagery for the IsabellaBlow: FashionGalore! exhibition at Somerset House and was invited as fashion week illustrator-in- residence at Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio. Projects undertaken since then have fuelled a keen interest in visual conditioning, and in the role of illustration historically and into the future, as an art form and communication tool.
Frida likes to think of her ladies as being just about to leave to do something, or coming back from somewhere. No one really knows their whole story (although probably they are engaged in solving a political mystery or unearthing a dinosaur).
She has worked with 1Granary, A Magazine Curated By, Because / Tank Magazine, ELLE Decoration, Gucci, Harper’s Bazaar, Hunger Magazine, LFW The Daily, Lula Magazine, Pringle of Scotland, SHOWstudio, Vestoj.
Work featured in ASVOFF, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Huffington Post, Nordstrom, Varoom! Frida lives in London, where she is a visiting lecturer on the BA Fashion Illustration Course at
London College of Fashion.
